The biomedical research network REFBIO is an initiative coordinated by the Fundación Miguel Servet- Navarrabiomed and supported by POCTEFA funding. This network gathers the main actors of the biomedical research in Midi-Pyrénées, Aquitania, La Rioja, Navarre, Aragon and the Basque Country. Altogether, they have built this network with the aim to support collaborations among researchers of the partner institutions and third parties, through the preparation of technological transference projects (TTPs). The long-term expected impact is to foster collaborations between trans-Pyrenean regions that can be further developed in the frame of the European Commission funding Program, Horizon 2020 or other funding programs.
Fostering the network is target to join one of the goals of the workshop with the theme “Technology Transference in the framework of RefbioII 2017”. The workshop will enable attendees to create synergies, discuss priorities, establish relationship and find technological transfer opportunities.
This will be the 2nd Call for Collaborations within the Network, as a direct output of the relationship fostered in the Workshop on the 17th of October 2017 in Bilbao, strengthen the international technology transfer of RefbioII communities.
