On January 25th, the cross-border network Refbio II (2016-2018) Technical Committee met on the occasion of the fifth partnership meeting in the French town of Bidart (Aquitaine).
This intense cooperative working day for the 16 representatives of the 9 Spanish and French regions took place in the School of Advanced Industrial Technologies (ESTIA) at the Izarbel Technopole.
During this day, the team evaluated the progress of the work stages of the project and the actions to be undertaken.
Further, the committee gave an official resolution to the Call for Projects of Innovation and Transfer of Results in R & D (PITRIDs) that will allow the launch of 13 cross-border projects with a total funding of more than 190,000 € and involving 21 research teams from 9 regions on both sides of the Pyrenees.
After the meeting, the Refbio II consortium partners were received by Jean-Marie Bridoux, director of the Landouzy Clinic, the Pneumology Aftercare and Rehabilitation Center in Cambo-les-Bains. Landouzy is one of the entities that will collaborate with the Refbio II partners in this last phase of the project, through cooperation within the ELIFRAIL project.
All participants welcomed the launch of this first gateway, which will allow the expansion of areas of collaboration.
The day ended with a tour of the ESTIA facilities accompanied by representatives of the Osasuna Health Cluster.
